Novel Writing Blood is Thicker Than Water, is a story about identity, family and finding the courage to not only stand up for who you are but to challenge long held prejudices. Jo's novel, A World of Silence, deals with the secrets women keep and the consequences of staying silent. Her novel The Family, focuses on the resilience women when their truths are stolen by others. The Truth About My Daughter, was released on 1 October 2024. A Good Woman features three generations of women who find themselves at a cross roads in their lives, forcing each of them to make difficult decisions that will impact their loved ones. At a lighthouse residency in Newcastle in June 2024, Jo completed a second draft of The Last Supper, about three older women determined not to become frail or dependent on others. Instead, they plan to enjoy a year of decadence ending with a last supper before making a final exit together.
